Last week, S.B. Ballard was awarded the Tidewater Community College Norfolk Student Center Project.

The Norfolk Student Center will be located in the existing urban plaza, adjacent to the Martin Building and across from the MacArthur Mall at 300 Granby Street in downtown Norfolk. 

The Student Center will be a 57,000 square foot building which will accommodate student activities, lounge/study areas, meeting rooms, recreational and fitness facilities, food service operations and other appropriate retail services, including childcare services. 

The Norfolk Student Center is still in the design phase with construction to start in 2009.
