The Virginia Department of General Services Main Street Centre Parking Deck in Richmond, VA, was a design-build project completed by SBBCC.
The parking deck was a necessity for Commonwealth of Virginia employees, and it was our team’s goal to have the garage blend in and enhance its surroundings to lessen the overall impact of its scale and mass.
The 357,000 SF parking deck has 11 levels, with two levels below grade and holds 1,000 parking spaces. The structure includes three stair towers, two of which have lobbies for dual elevators, and the entire garage is illuminated with highly controllable LED light fixtures.
The Main Street Centre Parking Deck continues to provide convenient and accessible parking for the employees of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
