The Sentara Healthcare Raleigh Ave Parking Garage project consisted of an 8-level, cast-in-place post-tension parking garage totaling 355,000 SF with 977 parking spaces. Work consisted of cast-in-place concrete, brick veneer stair towers and an elevator tower.

The Sentara Healthcare Raleigh Ave Parking Garage project consisted of a 355,000 SF multi- deck cast-in-place post-tension parking garage that tied into an existing structure, offering 977 additional parking spaces. The new garage included an elevator, emergency power and parking garage lighting systems, extensive signage packages, and fire protection systems. This project had deep pile foundations and was constructed on a highly constrained site with active emergency room operations and regular nightingale helicopter traffic from emergency transport.
The project also required the rerouting of an active City of Norfolk Sanitary Force Main that ran through the site. This carefully coordinated operation involved overnight work and the use of tanker storage trucks to complete the tie-in of the new Force Main.
